The last 3 games Price has been playing like the goalie everyone expects him to be like and as a matter of fact Price is keeping the Habs in the race for the Playoffs."He seems like the player we've seen for 50 games not games. Why that is I do not know,"Gainey Said. " He's been really working on me, telling me not to do too much like over exaggerate every move. Really, when you do that it hurts more than it helps," Price said about his save on Kovalchuk. Price is expected to start again tomorrow against the Blackhawks.
As for Plekanec, S.Kostitsyn, and A.Kostitsyn, they were the hardest working players today at practice.So far the first 3 games with Plekanec, S.Kostitsyn, and A.Kostitsyn on line 2, they have not even picked up a single point yet. "You can't expect to just put them in a room with the light off and get them to find out how to score. You need to help them set up a plan to score," Montreal G.M & Coach Bob Gainey said today.The Canadiens next game will be tomorrow against the Blackhawks.
