Gainey Has Made A Few Changes to The Habs lineup for Tonights game

Today Bob Gainey has announced that Carey Price will start tonight against the Thrashers.“Carey will get the start tonight and I hope we will end the night with a victory,” said Gainey after the morning skate. “As for the rest of the lineup, I’ve turned to our more experienced players like Mathieu Dandenault and Patrice Brisebois who have both played in such important situations in the past.” Gainey also announced that Saku Koivu will play along side Alex Kovalev and Alex Tanguay.“It’s going to be exciting to see all that talent on one line,” said Kostopoulos. “All three of them want to win at all cost. I think fans are going to have fun watching those guys go, just like we will from the bench.”

Saku Koivu says he can't wait to play beside Tanguay and Kovalev.“It important for us veterans to lead the way for our young guys and that’s what we’re going to do tonight,” said Koivu. “We haven’t played together much and we will have to quickly find our rhythm, but a win tonight will not be just up to the three of us. It’s going to take a team effort.” Tonight the Canadiens will be focusing on scoring first, the Canadiens record when scoring first is 12-21-4. As for the Thrashers there record when scoring first is 6-28-3. The puck drop for tonights game is 7:38pm E.T on RDS.
