Gainey Has Made A Few Things Clear to The Media



This Morning after the Canadiens practice, Bob Gainey announced that the next Canadiens coach has to be French Speaking."I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that the coach of the Canadiens would preferably be able to address everybody in their language," Gainey said Friday. "It is part of the reality of this franchise and the community we work in." When asked by the media who would be the next Canadiens coach he simply replaied:"I have not even thought about that yet, he said. "Right now I'm focusing on getting my team into the Playoffs."

Jaroslav Halak is going to get the start in goal tonight against the Leafs. Halak has a 2-0 record versus the Maple Leafs this season.Mike Komisarek and forward Andrei Kostitsyn are expected to be healthy scratches for tonights game."He's hesitating in his play," said Gainey about Komisarek. "When he has a chance to be first on the puck along the boards, he doesn't get there." The puck drop for tonights game will be at 7:08pm E.T on CBC and RDS.
