Canadiens Sign Andrew Conboy to a three-year contract



The Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that they have signed forward Andrew Conboy to a three-year contract. which will last from the 2009-2010 season to the 2011-2012 season.Conboy was the Canadiens’ fifth-round pick, 142nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He weighs 200 ponds and his is 6-foot-4,he is a left handed shooter. This season he has recorded zero goals and one assist and has served four penalty minutes in seven games with the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs. Conboy also has 42 goals and 46 assist in 114 games through 2006-2008 with the USHL’s Omaha Lancers.
