With the trade deadling coming up in 18 days (Febuary 28th 2011) the Canadiens may be in the hunt for a top 6 forward with size and speed. The Canadiens are currently targetting Mike Richards of the Dallas Stars and David Perron of the St. Louis Blues. But I think they are more looking to get Richards over Perron since Perron is out for a while with no exact return date. But the Problem with aquiring Richards is that they may have to give up a player like Plekanec, Gionta or Pouliot. The Canadiens arn't willing to trade them. So we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
