BUF: J. Enroth (W)
 MTL: C. Price (L)

Last night in Montreal, the Sabres traveled to Montreal to take on the Habs without Miller (who started in 30 straight games prior to this one). So Enroth would get the start. But his team didn`t start off well. As Max Pacioretty would score from the side of the net on a powerplay to make it 1-0. Then in the second, Desharnais would split the Buffalo defense and then play the puck right to Pouliot who would put it home to the Habs a 2-0 lead. Then with 3 minutes to go Srafford would score to cut the lead to a single goal going into the third.

Then in the third, the Sabres would tie it up with a goal from Pominville. So we went to overtime. In overtime, Pouliot gave the puck away right to Myers would take a shot and Price made the save and Pouliot dove to clear the rebound but couldn`t and Myers got another shot and Price made a great save with the glove. So were off to a shootout. Desharnais would score the first goal to make it 1-0. Then Plekanec would make it 2-0. Venek had to score to keep the game alive and he did. This game would go to a 10th round and Wisinewski would miss the net. So if Hecht scores Buffalo wins, and he did. So the Habs would lose this game 3-2 is your final.

"We weren't happy with our start," said Stafford. "We weren't skating or competing, but we were much better in the second and third periods and found a way to win." In the win, Enroth made 32 saves. As for the Hbas, Carey Price made 30 saves."You want the two points, but they battled through," said Montreal coach Jacques Martin, whose club ended a three-game homestand and now heads west for games Thursday in Edmonton, the Heritage Classic outdoor game Sunday in Calgary and next week in Vancouver. We had a good first period and then we let it slip. It would have been helpful to get another goal, but there was a bit of sloppiness on our part in the second half of the game."

The Habs next game will be Thursday against the Oilers.
