Last night in Boston, it was old time hockey between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins. There were fights, Goals and saves. It was a very entertaining game. In the first period, the Bruins would get 2 back to back goals from Marchand and Seidnberg to get the early 2-0 lead. But 30 seconds into the second period the Canadiens would get one back with a Goal from Gionta. That`s his 20th of the season and his 200th career goal.

Then with the Habs on the powerplay, Subban will tie the game on a slap shot that will break the slump of 23 games without a goal on the powerplay. So the game is tied. Then a minute later Mcquid would give the Bruins the lead again. Then 2 minutes after that, Weber would slap home his first National Hockey League Goal to tie the game again (Weber had 1 goal as a Canadien prior to this one in Game 4 of the 08-09 playoff game against the Bruins).

Shortly after that Ryder and Lucic would score to regain a 2 goal lead at 5-3. Then hell would break loose. A scum would break out in the corner to the right of Price. Thomas would skate all the way down the ice and chanlenged Carey Price to a fight. The ref held back Price. But once Price through off his gloves and helmet the Refs knew they had to step back. So Price took down Thomas with one punch. Price and Thomas would get fighting majors (But they didn`t serve them) and a extra 2 minutes for leaving the crease. But there still time to play in the period as Desharnais would score to cut the lead to one. Then Lucic would score again to give the Bruins a 6-4 lead.

But the game wasn`t over yet. As in the third period Pacorety would score to cut the lead to one. But then Ryder would score to give the Bruins a 2 goal lead again. Both teams would trade 2 more goals as the Bruins win it 8-6.  In the lose Price made 26 saves. In the win, Thomas made 27 saves. But after the game the big story was about the Goalie fight."I think we were just play-fighting more than anything," Price said. "Neither of us really wanted to get hurt, but we are out there doing whatever we had to do, I guess."
