Last night in Montreal, Auld took on his former team for the second time this season and he played great ending the game with his 4th win of the season by making 33 saves. Now lets take you to how that win happend. In the first period, Timmins opened the scoring for Florida on a rebound to make it 1-0. Then in the second the Canadiens would tie it up with a shot from the point by Subban which was batted out of mid air by Halpern (8th of the season). So after two the score is tied at 1-1. Then in the third, Plekanec's shot was stopped by Vokoun. But the rebound went off of Weiss of the Panthers and into the back of the net to give Montreal there first lead of the game.

Plekanec would get credit for the goal. That's his 17th of the season. Then shortly after that, Paciorety came in on a breakaway and he was stopped but Gionta would put home the rebound that's his 19th to give the Habs a 2 goal lead.  Weiss would add one more goal for the Panthers. But it was the Canadiens who got the win, 3-2 is the final."Things are bouncing the right way for sure but ultimately it's the overall play of the team and we need to keep this momentum and keep doing the right things," said Gionta. The Canadiens next game will be Saturday afternoon against the Rangers at 2:08pm E.t on CBC, RDS and for the US MSG-NY.
