PRICE & POULIOT LEAD THE HABS TO A WIN OVER THE PENGUINS

(26-12-4) Pittsburgh Penguins 1-2 Montreal Canadiens (22-16-3)
                                            Final SO

Last night in Montreal, the Penguins were without Crosby (due to a mild concussion). So the question was how would they respond? Well, just 3 minutes into the game former Hab Arraon Asham scored to give the Pens the early lead. But Price kept the Habs in the game with 12 1st period saves. So the Habs responded with a goal from Pouliot in the second to tie the game. The game ended up going to a shootout.

The first 4 Montreal shooters were stopped as well were the Pens. But the Habs 5th shooter Benoit Pouliot, he would skate in and fake a shot and his left hand let go of the stick and he quickly dragged the puck to the other side and one handed the puck into the back of the net to make it 1-0 in the Canadiens first shootout of the season. Chris Kunitz would miss on the do or die attempt for Pittsburgh so the Habs won this game 2-1 is your final.

In the victory, Carey Price made 31 saves as for the Pens goalie(Johnson), made 22 saves in the loss."We won, we got the extra point and we got to keep going," Pouliot said. "It was a huge win, they are first in the East, and we battled through it, picked it up after the first and won the game." The Habs next game will be Saturday against the Bruins.
