CANADIENS FALL TO THE SABRES IN OT

Last night in Buffalo, the Habs started the game on a bad note. Early on, Cammalleri was driven into the boards hard by Mike Weber and he would leave the game with a separated shoulder. Then with the Habs on the powerplay James Wisineskis shot will hit Paciorety right in the rib cage and he would leave the game on a stretcher and not return. Still on the powerplay though, and Hamirlik`s shot was tipped in by Desharnais. Then with 40 seconds  to go Subban took a shot off the leg and he limped of the ice but he would return.So,the Habs up by 1 after 1. Then with the Sbres on the powerplay in the second, Tyler Ennis would put it home to tie the game. No scoring in the third, but Gomez took a late high sticking penalty.

So insueing powerplay, Vanek plays it to Pominville and he puts it home as the Sabres take this one 2-1 is the final."It almost feels like a win, getting that point," said Price. "I felt like we were battling uphill all game.Our guys played hard and we had to earn it." In the loss, Price made 37 saves on 39 shots. As for Miller, he made 29 saves in the win."Gerbe did a great job getting the penalty to get that power play," Ennis said about the Gomez penalty. "When you get a chance in overtime like that, you have to bury it.It was big for us for Pommer to do that." The Habs next game will be Friday against the Senators.
