CANADIENS RALLY BACK DOWN 2 GOALS TO BEAT THE BRUINS IN OT

(21-12-7) Boston Bruins 2-3 Montreal Canadiens (23-16-3)
                                       Final

Last night in Montreal, the Habs and the Bruins battled to the end but only one team came out on top. That team was the Canadiens. The Habs got off to a bad start giving up 2 goals in the second to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead (both goals came from Bergeron)."We were down two goals, I don't think that's any reason for fans to go home," said Hal Gill. "Kirk Muller was one of the loudest voices on the bench saying this is why we play 60 minutes." So thanks to some good words by Muller the Habs didn't give up. Late in the third the Habs were on the powerplay, Gomez pass to Gionta didn't go to Gionta but it went in between the legs of Thomas (who didn't expect that pass to go on net) to cut the lead in half. With under 1 minute to play,Wisinewski's shot went off of Gionta and into the net to tie the game.

So they went to overtime. With under 2 minutes to play Pacioretty scores on Thomas upstairs to win the game for Montreal. After he scored he tapped Chara in the back. Chara didn't like it, so a scrum in sued. Chara ended up punching the ref in the face with his glove but the ref was ok. The NHL is expected to look at that. But anyway, Price was a key factor in the win as he made 27 saves."They found a way to win and we found a way to give it to them," said Boston coach Claude Julien. The Habs next game will be Tuesday against the Rangers on RDS.
