Hamilton Bulldogs Update (AHL):BULLDOGS PLAY HARD BUT FALL IN O.T

(4-4-1) Oklahoma City Barons 3-2 Hamilton BullDogs (2-1-3)
                                              Final O.t

This afternoon in Hamilton, the Montreal Canadiens Farm team the Hamilton Bulldogs played  their 6th game of the season seeking a win. But unfortunetly they didn't get that win but they did pick up a point in their 3-2 overtime lose to the Edmonton Oilers Farm team the Oklahoma City Barons (this game was shown on CBC). It all started back in the first, when Desharnais did a nice move to get around the Barons defence and then he faked a shot and went right in on goal and deked out Martin Gerber (Former NHL player who played for the Leafs, Senators and Hurricanes as a goalie) to make it 1-0.

Then in the second, the Barons would reaspond with a couple of goals from Petry and McDonald to take a 2-1 lead. Then in the third, the Bulldogs went on a powerplay and Brandon Nash would score to tie the game. It would go to overtime. Late in o.t Alexander Giroux would score on a wrist shot to win the game for the Barons 3-2 is your final.

The Bulldogs next game will be on Oct. 27th against Syracuse at 7pm E.t
