FANS BOO PRICE IN 4-2 LOSS TO THE BRUINS

Last night in Montreal, it wasn't the way you would want to start the season if you were Carey Price. Price was booed by the fans after giving up 4 goals on 10 shots in a 4-2 loss. Price was even jeered after making a save. But what is this all for? It's only Pre-Season. "We all got his (Price) back and we're all supporting him," said Habs forward Mike Cammalleri. "No one in here is booing him, so if everyone wants to identify with this team, we're all supporting him so jump on board." Price had nothing to say to the media after the game. But what his teammates said speak for himself. " Everyone here is frustrated with it," Gill said about the Hab fans booing Price." But we can't go and fight the fans were having a hard enough time fighting the Bruins."

Curtis Santford came in at the 10 minute mark of the second period to reaplace Price. At that moment the score was 4-0 but Sanford didn't give up a goal as he made 7 saves. In the loss, M. Lapierre and T. Plekanec scored for Montreal. As for the Bruins, Rask made 38 saves on 40 shots in the win. As you can tell by the shot totals it was all Montreal but they couldn't beat Rask."I felt good but I don't feel the same as I would after 20 games. It's not a shutout, but I've got be happy. Not many mistakes,"Rask said.

The Habs next game will be on Friday against the Senators on RIS (not RDS) at 7:30pm E.t.
