Yesterday evening in Montreal, Jacques Martin (Habs head coach) announced that he has sent Sergei Kostitsyn to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL. Sergei Kostitsyn can't join the Bulldogs until they return from Edinburgh, Scotland (where they had training camp). This move by Martin is a surprise as Kostitsyn was expected by everyone to start the season with Montreal on the second line with his older brother Andrei Kostitsyn and Habs veteran Tomas Plekanec. Only time will tell if he will be called up from Hamilton in the future.
