HABS FALL IN SHOOTOUT AGAINST THE BRUINS

Last night after Briesbois said good bye, Montreal took on the Bruins and it was a great game. But the Canadiens fell 2-1 in the shootout. S.Kostitsyn scored the lone goal for Montreal in the game."It was without a doubt his best game so far," said Habs head coach Jacques Martin. "He went to the net, he was involved, he did some good things."

Canadiens forward Mike Cammalleri left the game due to a lower-body-injury."It's more precautionary, nothing serious," coach Jacques Martin said. "We just wanted to make sure that it didn't get worse and we feel that it'll be all right. Whether he'll play Saturday, we'll see, but what's more important is October 1st." The Canadiens last Preseason game will be on Saturday against the Sabers in Montreal at 7:00 pm E.t (no television broadcast for game).
