AVALANCHE OFFER PATRICK ROY HEAD COACHING JOB

Roy met with the Avs' president Pierre Lacroix last week. Patrick Roy(The three-time Conn Smythe trophy winning) is interested in returning to the NHL as a head coach. Their has been alot of rumors coming from Montreal, that Roy can be the Canadiens next head coach. But in this case, it looks like Roy might want to coach the Avalanche."Patrick is a very deliberate guy who analyzes everything," Jacques Demers, who coached Roy and the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup in 1993, told The Denver Post. "He's not necessarily going to take the first job that might come along. He's going to want to go into a situation he thinks is on the right track and that he's going to feel comfortable with."Only time will tell if Roy will coach the Avs' or coach the Canadiens.
