Today in Toronto, the NHL and NHLPA met to discuss the latest offer from Gary Betteman. The NHLPA rejected the offer and they gave the NHL 3 counter offers, but Gary Betteman said no. The three offers have not been disclosed to the public."It's clear we're not speaking the same language," said Bettman. "I am concerned we are not progressing.I don't know what the next step is. I'm obviously very discouraged." No further meetings between the NHL and NHLPA have been scheduled.
