Today in new York, the NHL announced that they have cancelled the remainder of the preseason games from the 1st of October to the 8th. The NHL and NHLPA will meet tomorrow to further continue the CBA negotiations."We have agreed on an agenda of topics that we think can lead to productive discussions and agreement, and we hope that it will be constructive to the overall process," Daly said. "We're 100 percent focused on not missing any regular-season games and, hopefully, we can achieve that objective." I think that the negotiations will get the NHL no where on Friday, so expect to see between a week to two weeks of the Regular Season games cancelled by Monday. As of right now the NHL season is scheduled to be under way on October 11th.
