Last night in Montreal, the Habs were playing their final home game of the 2011 Pre-Season and it was against the Lightning. Coming into this game, the Habs had a record of 1-5-0 (their 1 win came in Ottawa).  The record wasn't getting any better. Just 3 minutes in, Gervais shot was stopped by Buadj but Stamkos buried the rebound to make it 1-0 Bolts lead. 9 minutes later, St.Louis had the puck in the offensive zone on the left side and he played it to Stamkos, who one-timed it past Buadj to make it 2-0 Tampa.  Late in the second, Brett Connolly had a few whacks at the loose puck and finally put it past Buadj to make it 3-0 Tampa bay Lightning.  Connolly would add one more in the third as the Lightning take it by the score of 4-0.

In the win, Roloson made 24 saves to lead the Lightning to a victory. The Bolts record has now improved to 3-2-0 in the Pre-Season,  as the Habs record got worse going to 1-6-0. But after the game, the big story was about Brett Connolly getting himself  2 goals against Montreal."Connolly's just pushing and pushing, and that's how guys make the NHL. Look at (Jeff) Skinner last year in Carolina -- no one was expecting that," said Lightning head coach Guy Boucher. "Every game he was adapting and at some point you have to consider the player might be serious."

"He's a high pick and you can see all the skills he has. But he's a smart player," St. Louis said. "He's playing within the team concept -- that shows maturity within his play. You can't just depend on your offensive flairs in this league anymore; you have to play the whole game and he's done that. Obviously he's getting rewarded by doing the right things." As for Montreal, in the loss Buadj made 30 saves. Carey Price will get the start in the Habs last Pre-Season game on Saturday in Quebec City as the Habs hope to close out the Pre-Season with a win.  That game will be tomorrow night at 7:00 Pm E.T against the Lightning on RDS-HD.
