CANADIENS EMBARRASS THE RANGERS WITH A 6-0 VICTORY

Last night in Montreal, the Canadiens were looking for revenge after they got blown out by the score of 6-2 against the Rangers last Sunday, and they did with a blow out of there own (6-0)."I love New York City, it's one of my favorite places, so maybe I get excited about scoring against the Rangers," said Cammalleri, who has seven goals against New York in his career (2 of them in this game). In the Victory Jaroslave Halak made 32 saves for his 3rd shutout of the saeson and his 7th in his career."It's great to get goal support like tonight," Halak said. "That second period was amazing. We scored four in seven minutes and we didn't give them many chances."

The other players who scored for Montreal (besides Cammalleri) are the following. Benoit Pouliot (12th),Scott Gomez (7th), Maxim Lapierre (3rd) and Tomas Plekanec (12th)."It's weird when they had that six- or seven-minute run there where the puck was just bouncing everywhere," Lundqvist said (who was pulled after giving up 4 goals on 15 shots). "They just found ways to score. That's something we've been missing that couple of games, a couple of lucky bounces, but we have to work for it before we can turn it around." LARAQUE NO-MORE

Today in Montreal, Canadiens Gm Bob Gainey Called George Laraque and told him he will not play another game in Montreal. He also told him that Martin said that he doesn't any confidence in him anymore and the team believes they can win without a enforcer." Jacques Martin doesn't like me and doesn't believe in toughness," Laraque said angrly. To do this in the midst of all I'm dealing with in Haiti, the timing is awful.I was very emotional and I'm very hurt by this decision. I'm a proud guy and I may have let my emotions get the better of me.Needless to say, I'm very disappointed." The Canadiens will continue to pay Laraque for the rest of the season.

ZACH PARISE WINS THE GAME FOR THE DEVILS IN O.T AGAINST THE CANADIENS

Last night in Montreal, the Canadiens battled hard but lost in overtime by the score of 2-1 due to a breakaway goal by Zach Parise. "We worked hard for the two points," Brodeur said. But thanks to Scott Gomez (who scored the game tieing goal on the powerplay late in the second) the Habs got at least a point."We stuck right in there, played a patient game and got the point out of it, we needed that," Gomez said.
