CANADIENS LOSE THERE TOP PLAYER IN O.T LOSS TO SENATORS


Yesterday afternoon in Ottawa, the Senators won there franchise high 9th straight victory with a 3-2 overtime win over the Canadiens. But with the win, they lost Nick Foligno due to a blocked shot that broke his leg and will be out for the next 6-8 weeks."It's very disappointing," said Senators general manager Bryan Murray. "It's disappointing for him as he was just starting to play well and carry a lot of ice time for us. For him to go down that way it's hard for him."As for the Canadiens, they also lost a key player and that player is Mike Cammalleri to a Mcl injury and will require a Mri. It happened when Mike Fisher sent him hard into the boards and his right leg went in first." When ever a player goes down your concerned," Brian Gionta Said." Hopefully he'll be are right. I hope it's nothing serious."

In this game the Canadiens played pretty well. They came back down 2-0 with Goals from Pouliot (13th) and Gionta (14th).They also picked up a big point that put them one point out of 6th and that tied them for 7th."I think both teams were pretty even five-on-five as far as chances," said Martin. "I think for 60 minutes we had a pretty good performance even after missing certain players." As for the Senators, Alex Kovalev, Jason Spezza and Mike Fisher all scored in the victory.
