ZACH PARISE WINS THE GAME FOR THE DEVILS IN O.T AGAINST THE CANADIENS

Last night in Montreal, the Canadiens battled hard but lost in overtime by the score of 2-1 due to a breakaway goal by Zach Parise. "We worked hard for the two points," Brodeur said. "That was definitely a fun game to be part of today. You know, a lot of chances on both sides, both goalies had to make unbelievable saves at one point in the game and we pulled it off again."The Canadiens went down early due to a goal by Travis Zajac. But thanks to Scott Gomez (who scored the game tieing goal on the powerplay late in the second) the Habs got at least a point."We stuck right in there, played a patient game and got the point out of it, we needed that," Gomez said. "We can play with anyone when we're all healthy."

The Canadiens next game will be on this coming Thursday against the Dallas Stars at 7:30pm E.t 4:30 Pacific.
