This afternoon at the entry draft in Montreal, Gainey announced that he has picked Gabriel Dumont 139th overall in Round 5.The centerman had got 49 points in 51 games.“I’m a hardworking player and I try to pattern my game after guys like Maxime Talbot and Ryan Smith,” said Dumont. “I still have some work to do on my skating. I’ve been workin on itg at it for the past two years and I’ll keep at it this summer to continue improving.I know that my ticket to the NHL might be as a defensive forward on a third or fourth line and I’m going to keep fine-tuning my defensive play." Dumont will play in the NHL in about 1 year.
