BERGERON LIFTS THE CANADIENS PAST THE THRASHERS IN OVERTIME

Last night in Atlanta, Jaroslav Halak once again played a big game with making 47 saves on 50 shots to help Montreal get a 4-3 win in Overtime. "It was one of those nights again," Montreal goalie Jaroslav Halak said. "Many, many shots again. But we were able to win the game. That's all that matters."He wasn't the only player helping Montreal get the win. As Marc-Andrei Bergeron scored the tieing goal with over two Minutes to go on the Powerplay. Then he got the game-winning goal in O.t by going low back-hand glove side on Hedberg. The refs went up-stairs because the net came off. But the call on the ice stands, so its a goal."I tried to get my leg over there but I couldn't reach. He ran into me and got pushed into the post," Atlanta goaltender Johan Hedberg said. "I felt like it was a good goal."

"We did exactly what we wanted to do the whole game. It was just one of those games," Atlanta coach John Anderson said. "The hockey gods weren't with us." The Canadiens will look to get 3 wins in a row, with a win over the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
