Earlier tonight in Montreal, the Canadiens took on the Rangers seeking another win on home ice. 47 seconds in, Ryder dumped the puck in behind the net and it bounced back in front right to him and he scored to make it 1-0. 18 minutes later, Subban played the puck to Plekanec and he skated up the right wing and fired a shot past Biron to make it 2-0 after 1. The shots were 17 to 10 Rangers after 1.

11 minutes into the second, the Habs were on a powerplay and Subbans point shot was stopped, Gallagher scored on the rebound to make it 3-0. That would be the score after 2. The shots in the second were 8-7 Rangers. In the third it was all Price as he made saves from every angle as the Habs ung on for the 3-0 win. In the win Price made 34 saves. In the loss, Biron made 23 saves.

"To be honest, I thought it was a pretty routine game for him," Subban said. "The thing about Price is he makes the saves look easy.A lot of them weren't. But no one's surprised here. He's one of the best goaltenders in the league. For me, it was just another game for him."
