This past afternoon in Montreal, the Habs were looking to rebound after a 5-1 loss to Senators with a win against the Buffalo Sabres. With under 10 seconds to go in the first with Montreal on a powerplay, Gionta centred the puck to Bourque and it went off his skate and in to make it 1-0 Habs. The Sabres couldnt get anything going in the first as the shots were 15-1 Montreal. 2 minutes into the second, Gallagher came in on a 2 on 1 he played the puck over to Gallchenyuk and he one timed it back, Gallagher attempted to do the same but his pass was redirected into the net by Buffalo defenseman Ehrhoff.

At the mid way point of the game, Desharnais shot from the slot beat Miller to make it 3-0. 30 Seconds later, Eller rushed the puck up the right wing and into the slot and he backhanded a shot five hole on Miller.Thats it for Miller as he gave up 4 goals on 21 shots. So in comes Enroth. It was 4-0 after 2. 1:22 into the third, Plekanec came in on a 3 on 1 and he played the puck to Bourque and he scored. Vanek would score 2 minutes later to cut the lead to 4. But just past the half way point of the third, the Habs were on another powerplay.

Subbans shot from the point was stopped and Desharnais was there to put home the rebound to make it 6-1 and thats the final.  In the win, Price made 30 saves and PK Subban (playing his first game of the season) picked up 1 assist. "When you're playing your first game and the team has a great start it's sort of a relief," said Subban, (1 assist). "I'm just happy with the win here today."In the loss, Enroth made 9 savesThe Habs record improves to 5-2-0 and theres only 41 games to go.
