ISLANDERS WIN IN O.T; HABS WIN STREAK ENDS AT 5

         Earlier tonight in Montreal, the 1st place Canadiens took on the New York Islanders in search of their 6th straight win. 49 seconds into the first, Armstrong centred the puck to Moen and he scored to make it 1-0 Habs. Then 10 minutes later with the Habs on the powerplay, Subban played the puck to Desharnias on the left wing and he centred it to Pacioretty and he scored to make it 2-0. The shots in the first were 14-3 Montreal. 34 seconds into the second with the Islanders on a powerplay, former Hab, Mark Streit took a shot from the point and it was tipped in by Moulson to cut the lead to 1.

        8 minutes later, Desharnias centred the puck to Pacioretty and he scored to make it 3-1. Moulson would score a late powerplay goal in the second to cut the lead to 3-2. The shots in the second were 14-12 Montreal. 10 minutes into the third, Nielsons shot from the slot beat Price to tie the game. So were off to overtime. The shots in the third were 8-4 Isanders. 3 minutes into O.t,  Tavares played the puck to Grabiner and he played it to Hickey at the side of the net and he scored his first Career NHL goal as the Isanders win 4-3.

          In the win, Nabokov made 30 saves. In the loss, Price made 21 saves. "We played a good first half of the game, but we kinda layed off and let their guys take charge of the game," Captain Brian Gionta Said.
