Last night in Vancouver, the Canucks were looking to finaly close out the Blackhawks after going up 3-0 in the series and then letting the Hawks rally to win 3 straight to force this game 7. Would this be the night? Just a few minutes in, Alex Burrows scored to make it 1-0. Then late in the third, the Hawks would tie it with a goal from Toews. So it went to overtime. In the extra period, Burrows would score again to lead the Canucks to knock out the defending champs."Not to take anything away from the gold medal, it's something really special," Kesler said about this series compared to Luongo's Gold medal. "But you work all year for this and I've played with most of these guys for six, seven years and we've grown together and we've become family."
