Around midnight the Canadiens GM Pierre Gauthier traded Matt D'Agostini to the Blues for Aaron Palushaj. Palushaj played 44 games in the AHL with Peoria Rivermen, and he had 5 goals and 17 assists. Palushaj was drafted by St. Louis in the second round of the 2007 draft.Palushj is expected to be sent to the AHL.As for D'Agostini, he has played 94 career games with Montreal and he had 14 goals and 11 assists. D'Agostini was drafted by Montreal in the sixth round of the 2005 draft. D'Agostini will play his first game with his new team on Thursday against the Stars.
