Last night in Winnipeg, the Habs took on the Jets in search of Cunneyworths first win as a coach. 3 minutes in, with the Jets on a powerplay, Byfuglin played the puck across the ice right to Wheeler and he scored to give the Jets a 1-0 lead. 10 minutes later, Antropov took the puck to the net and played it back to Glass in the slot and he fired a shot past Price to make it 2-0 Jets lead. 40 seconds into the second, Wheeler deked past the Habs defense and fired a shot to the net and it went in to make it 3-0 Jets lead.  7 minutes later, Kane got the puck in the slot and took a shot and it was stopped by the shoulder of Price.

3 minutes later, Glass had a brekaway and he was stopped by Price and Slater was denied on the rebound as well. Late in the second, the Habs went on a powerplay, Kaberles shot was stopped and Plekanec was denied on the rebound by Pavelec. That's as close as the Habs would get to a goal in this game as Stapleton would add another goal late in the third for the Jets as they take this game 4-0 is the final. In the win, Pavelec made 27 saves for his 3rd shutout of the season. In the lose, Price made 30 saves and played well but unfortunetly the Habs couldn't back him up by scoring any goals."We realize what's going on to some degree," Cunneyworth said. "(The Jets) worked hard and we have to work a little bit harder. It comes down to battling and competing and we didn't have that compete tonight.

"You have to keep on trying and that's the bottom line. It comes down to competing, being physical and having some resolve in our play. I think it's about sticking together at this time. We are trying to figure out the pieces of the puzzle and everybody has to come together." This lose will give the Habs their 5th straight loss (4 staright under Cunneyworth). Now the Habs won't have any more games until Tuesday so the break couldn't have come at a better time for them. Who knows, maybe after the break the Habs will know how to score, since as of now they have been outscored 21 to 9 in their last 5 games.
