PACIORETTY SCORES O.T WINNER TO LEAD THE HABS PAST THE PREDATORS

                      Earlier tonight in Nashville, the Habs took on the Predators in search of returning to .500 on the season. 5 minutes into the game, Yannik Webers one-time was stopped by Rinne but the puck trickled behind  him and he dove back to knock the puck out. 9 minutes later, Cole came in on a 2 on 1 and played it to Desharnais on the left, and he brought the puck to the net and Rinne poked the puck off of Desharnais skate and into the net to make it 1-0 Montreal. 3 minutes later, Sutter got the puck in the slot and took a shot but it was stopped by Budaj. The score was 1-0 Habs after 1 period. 4 minutes into the second, Webers point shot beat Budaj and the game is tied at 1-1. That was the score going into the final frame.

               The score would remain tied so this game would go to overtime. 2:31 into overtime, Subban brought the puck from the left side to the slot and played the puck back to Pacioretty at the left circle and Paciorettys shot beat Rinne hight blocker side as the Habs win it and return to .500 with a record of 7-7-2."It was a tight game," Budaj (who made 25 saves on 26 shots) said. "They played well, but our guys played great.They didn't have many chances in the first period. In the second period there were a few breakdowns and they scored a goal on our power play, which was a momentum swing for them. After that our guys really played well." In the loss, Rinne made 23 saves on 25 shots."We weren't skating," Trotz said. "We just weren't ourselves. I thought we got our feet under us in the second and third, and we really didn't give up a whole lot after that."
