The Canadiens will look to go back to there winning ways tonight against the Leafs
The Canadiens have the least amount of regulation loses in the NHL and have played very good on the road. They will look to continue their winning ways tonight in Toronto against a struggling club the Toronto Maple Leafs. They will look to get the same result they got the last time these two teams met the final score in that game was 6-1 in favor the Canadiens.
The Canadiens (8-1-2) are completing a four-game road trip. Their 4-0-2 road record matches Buffalo's for the best in the Eastern Conference.
Anyway the Canadiens needed Sergei Kostitsyn's goal with just 41 seconds left in the 3rd period to avoid its first regulation road loss of the season Friday in Columbus. The Canadiens however ended up losing 4-3 in a shootout.
"We turned the puck over a few times in the neutral zone, and they took advantage of it," Canadiens coach Guy Carbonneau said.
Jaroslav Halak started in Friday's game so Carey Price would be have the night of to be ready to playagainst Toronto.
Carey Price has won four of his last five starts against the Maple Leafs. He is 6-1-1 this season with a 2.17 goals-against average, the same career GAA he has versus Toronto.
