Carey Price highlights |
Today in Montreal, the Canadiens announced that Price earned the Molson Cup for October and the NHL announced that Price was named the NHL's 1st star of the week. This past week, Price lead the Habs to a 5-1 win over the Flyers and a home and home sweep against the Bruins (who are last in the Eastern Conference). In those 3 wins, Price allowed only 4 goals on 80 shots which is what lead the NHL to name him the first star of the week. As for the rest of October, Price was named "first star of the game" 3 times (first against Winnipeg on the 9th, and then against Boston on the 27th & 29). Price has a good October with a record of 4-4-2 in 10 games. This is what lead Price to win the Molson cup.
