Earlier tonight in Montreal, the Habs took on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Just 21 seconds in, Kunitz played the puck to Malkin in front his shot went off the post but he scored on the rebound to make it 1-0. Just 1 minute later, Moen took a shot from the left side and it beat Fleury to tie the game at 1-1. 5 minutes later, Pacioretty got the puck on the left side and fired a shot and scored to give the Habs a 2-1 lead. 1 Minute later,Nokellainen's shot was stopped and Darche was denied as well on the rebound. 2 minutes into the second, Dupuis fired a shot off Kunitz and past Price to tie the game. But they decided to review it and it turned out that the shot went off the arm of Kunitz and into the net so the goal was disallowed and the Habs still had the lead.
6 Minutes later, Cole's shot from the slot went off the post and off Fleury and into the net to give the Habs a 3-1 lead. 5 minutes later, Staal's shot was stopped by the left skate of Price. He just barley kept that out. 2 minutes later, Martin got the puck to Dupuis in the slot and he spun and took a shot and scored to cut the lead to 3-2. 30 seconds later, Malkin came in on the right side and cut to the front of the net and was stopped by Price five hole. 4 minutes into the third, with the Habs on a powerplay, Cammalleri's shot from the right circle was stopped five hole by Fleury.
20 Seconds later, Kunitz had a breakaway and he was stopped by Price but he bumped into Price and the puck was in the net. The goal was not allowed due to goalie interference. Then with under 5 minutes to play, Staal had a breakaway and scored blocker side on Price to tie the game. This game would go into overtime. 3 minutes into overtime, Price thought he had the puck covered under his glove, but Dupuis took the puck from him and played it to Letang and he one-timed a shot into the net and the Penguins walk away with a 4-3 overtime win. In the loss, Price made 38 saves. In the win, Fleury made 24 saves.
The Habs next game will be Wednesday night against the Ducks at 10:00 Pm E.t on RDS-HD.
