BULLDOGS COME BACK DOWN 2-0 AND WIN 4-3
Last night in Hamilton, the Bulldogs took on the Rochester Americans for the third time this season and were looking for their first win against them. There was no score after 1 period of play and the shots were 15-12 Hamilton. 3 minutes into the second, Foligno centred the puck to Flynn and he scored to make it 1-0 Rochester. 10 minutes later, Flynn scored again on a shot from the slot to make it 2-0 after 2 periods of play. But in the third, the Bulldogs would come out firing. 10 minutes in, St.Denis's shot from the left wing was stopped, the puck was loose in the blue paint! Bodies go flying as both teams battle for the puck. Geoffrion would knock the puck into the net to cut the lead in half.
A few minutes later, Holland played the puck to Gallagher in the slot and he wristed a shot past Knapp to tie the game. 1 minute later with the Dogs on a powerplay, Beaulieus point shot was tipped in by Blunden to give them a 3-2 lead. Geoffrion would score another goal to make it 4-2. Tarnasky would cut the lead in half, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs win 4-3. In the win, Mayer made 27 saves. In the loss, Knapp made 30 saves.
