Today the NHL and NHLPA met again to speak about the lockout. The NHL has now put a new offer in place in an attempt to end the lockout."We hope we've given our best shot," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said. The offer is a 50/50 split of all the hockey related revenue and the players will get no roll back on their contracts. "Its an excellent start," Donald Fehr said. If the NHLPA accepts the offer the NHL season will begin on November 2nd with a full 82 game schedule.
