AHL: BULLDOGS FALL 3-1 IN BRANFORD
Earlier tonight in Branford, Ontario, the Hamilton Bulldogs took on the Toronto Marlies in 1 out of 2 exhibition games in Branford. 4 minutes into the first, Gagne fired a shot and it was stopped but Stephen MacAulay was there to put home the rebound to make it 1-0 Bulldogs. 2 minutes into the second, the Marlies put the puck on net and it was tipped in by Scott to tie the game. Gregg Scott would score a late powerplay goal in the third to give the Marlies the lead. Mckegg would add an empty net goal as the Marlies win 3-1. The next exhibition game will be Monday night in Branford between these two teams again.
