This morning in Montreal, Canadiens Gm Pierre Gauthier announced that he had traded Yaro Spacek to the Carolina Hurricanes for Tomas Kaberle. In 29 games this season (with the Hurricanes), Kaberle had 9 assists. Spacek played 12 games this season with the Habs, and he had 3 assists. Kaberle was brought in to bring offense to the Habs struggling powerplay. He's expected to be a temporary replacement for Markov, as he is a great puck moving defenseman (which should help the Habs on the powerplay). Kaberle will make his debut tomorrow night against the Devils. Written By Andrew Di Pardo |
