Last night in Boston, it was Game 6 of the Cup final and it was a do or die for the Bruins. But you can tell the Bruins to Die another day because yesterday wasn't that day. 30 seconds into the game, Bieska's shot went wide and right to Sedin and he fanned on the puck. On the same play, Raymond was driven into the boards by Boychuck and left the game and didn't return. 4 minutes later, Marchand came into the Canucks zone on the right side and took a shot and scored to make it 1-0 Bruins. 30 seconds later, Lucic came in from the apposite side and took a shot and scored to make it 2-0. 2 minutes later, the Bruins went on the powerplay. Ference had the puck at the point and shot it past Luongo blocker side to make it 3-0.

That was it for Luongo as he gave up 3 goals on 8 shots, so in came Schneide. On the next play, Kaberle's point shot was tipped in by Ryder to make it 4-0 on the first shot Schneider faced. That was 4 goals in 4:21. That's an NHL record for fastest goals by 1 team in the Finals. With 5 minutes to play in the first, Kesler went into the Bruins zone and did a rap around on Thomas but Thomas kept it out with his right pad. Then in the final minute, Hansen had a breakaway and he was stopped by Thomas. 4-0 after 1. Early in the seocnd with the Canucks on the powerplay, Daniel Sedin hit the post.

Going into the third, the score was still 4-0 Boston. But 22 seconds into the third, Sedin came into the Bruins zone and dangled past the defence and scored backhand glove side to cut the lead to 3. 8 minutes later, Krecji would make it 5-1 Bruins on the powerplay. Lapierre would add a late goal as the Bruins would win this game 5-2 and live another day and they have a made a brand new series by making it a Best-Of-1. That's what it's going to be going into Game 7 on Wednesday."I'm proud of the guys," said Mark Recchi, who had three assists. "We had our backs to the wall, we've been resilient all year, and we came out and had a great first period and did what we had to do tonight, and it comes down to Game 7. It's one game now."

Good news for the Canucks is that every game that has been won by them or by Boston has been on there own ice surface. 2 years ago, the Penguins and Wings met in the Finals. In the first 6 games, it was the home team that won. But in game 7 the road team (The Penguins) won the game and the Stanley Cup. The Bruins would like to take a page out of the Penguins book. While the Canucks would like to continue there home success. Game 7 will be Wednesday night on CBC and NBC.
