Last night in Montreal, the Canadiens looked to snap a losing streak with a win over the Atlantic Thrashers. The Canadiens opened the scoring with a goal by Brian Gionta in the first. The Thrashers scored early in the third period to tie it up at 1-1. The Canadiens would go on to win 2-1 in the shootout. If it wasn't for rookie goaltender O. Pavelec the Thrashers would not have even went to a shootout. As Pavelec made 34 saves on 35 shots. But the Canadiens didn't let that bring them down."
