According to CKAC Tanguay's agent Robert Sauvé has spoken to Bob Gainey."I had a discussion with Bobsled Gainey yesterday and the Canadian presently has another priority. Once this priority is dealt, they will discuss about Tanguay. They did not say us themselves they had interest or although this be", explained Tanguay's agent Robert Sauvé. Certain thing, Alex Tanguay sees itself very well to play under the orders of Bob Gainey and Jacques Martin. When Alex Tanguay was asked if he was botherd by the Canadiens being up for sale? He Reasponded:" The sale of the team is no consern to me. At this point I just have to worry about talking to teams about contracts." Alex Tanguay also indicated that he wants to stay in Montreal.
