This afternoon, George Gillett announced that Geoff Molson and his brothers Andrew and Justin will take over ownership of the 100-year old francise the Montreal Canadiens, the Gillett Entertainment Centre and the Bell Centre according to the TSN's report.When Molson used to be the owner of the Canadiens before, the HABS won 11 of their 24 Stanley Cups."I think to the extent that they have been able to find people who are obviously passionate about the game and structure a transaction that makes sense for everybody, that's a real plus for the franchise and the fans of Montreal,'' NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said.
