Today in Montreal, it was announced that due to the NHL lockout, Max Pacioretty will be joining Ambri Piotta of the Swiss League. Pacioretty played 79 games with the Habs last season and had 33 goals and 32 assists for a total of 65 points. Pacioretty waslead the team in scoring and he was second behind Eric Cole in goals for the team lead. In August, Pacioretty signed a 6 year extension worth $27 Million with the Canadiens. If the lockout comes to an early end the Habs would love to have him back.
