KOVALEV LEAVE'S THE NHL AND SIGN'S A CONTRACT WITH A KHL TEAM

Kovalev spent the last 3 seasons with the Habs, Senators and Penguins.

                     Today, former Hab, Alex Kovalev signed a a 2 year contract with Atlant Mytishchi of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Kovalev was a 2 time NHL All-Star with Montreal and a 1 time NHL All-Star with Pittsburgh. Kovalev, played 54 games last season with the Senators and the Penguins and had 16 goals and 18 assists.
